Yards
Prior to the first regular season
game against the Indians, the Orioles christened their new ballpark
with a game against the Mets. It was a cold, gray day better suited
for football. This is the park that has most influenced the recent
history of the game and has become the yardstick by which other
teams / cities compare their new parks against.
Standing with the Babe on Eutaw
Street before a game in the summer of 2000. Even though the Orioles
have not played all that well in the late 90's / early 00's, they
continue to draw well.
