County
Stadium
A patchwork panorama
from 1999, with Miller Park taking shape. Note the rather short,
stubby looking foul pole in right field.
A second patchwork
panorama of the old ballpark taken in September, 1999.
Looking out to
right center field, County Stadium never did have a color video
screen installed.
Looking out at
the left field stands, some of the original wooden seats were
still used till the end.

showing an early configuration of County Stadium, prior to extending
the stands to their final position.
An image from within the bowels of County Stadium reveals a bustling
concourse.

CALL - SEPTEMBER 28, 2000
Arriving into
Milwaukee for the final game, the plane passes over the stadium,
and it's successor.
Warren Spahn
was back on the mound, (or at least close to it), and he opens
the game, with the first pitch as Del Crandall picks it clean.
This battery opened County Stadium for the Braves.
The first pitch
of the last game at County Stadium- Jeff D'Amico of the Brewers
pitches to Michael Tucker of the Reds.
The last pitch
at County Stadium was to Mark Loretta of the Brewers from Elmer
Dessens of the Reds.
The infield is
ringed with County Stadium greats of the past (Hank Aaron is to
the far left, nearest 3rd base), while Yount rides his Harley
in from left field.
Passing the flag
to be raised in April, 2001.
