Stadium Sausage Race
One of
the more amusing events that exist in the ballparks is the Great
Sausage Race. Four racers: a German Bratwurst; Polish Kilbassa;
Italian Sausage & American Hotdog race from centerfield along
the warning track to left; past third base and the visitors dugout
and finish behind home plate. This was the last race ever at County
Stadium from September 28th, 2000.
